PROFESSIONAL

Sandy Aird Jnr is the PGA Professional at McDonald Golf Club, Ellon.
Son of a professional (his namesake at Forres Golf Club), he was introduced to the game at a young age. A scratch golfer as a junior he turned professional in 2002 and played on the Tartan Tour for a number of years with some success, including a win in the Cambuslang Centenary Pro-Am.

Having become a fully qualified professional (passing his teaching exam with a Distinction) Sandy has continued his coaching development by attending numerous PGA Seminars and also started the Clubgolf Development and Performance Programmes in 2006.
Sandy took up the Head Professional position at Ellon in February 2009.

TUITION

We provide lessons for golfers of all age and ability. Whether you are just starting out and need some help with the basics, or you need a more thorough analysis of your swing we have the facilities to help.

Video Analysis is a fantastic way to examine your golf game. With the aid of video replay we can slow down your swing and scrutinise from every angle. This is a must for every serious golfer.
